Your Role in Our Story:

We are seeking a strategically minded seasoned professional to join our team as an Enterprise Architect. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the technological landscape of our organization, driving innovation, and ensuring that our IT solutions align seamlessly with our business objectives.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing compliance with the architectural standards, principles, patterns and roadmap for the technical architecture of our IT landscape. Reporting directly to the Global IT Director, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization.

In essence, your role involves:

Strategize

  • Develop Point of Views on technology, industry and market trends, and determine their potential impact on the enterprise
  • Collaborate with C-level and senior management to develop digital vision and build the digital strategy
  • Lead the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to derive enterprise business, information, technical and solution (BITS) architecture requirements
  • Understand, advocate and support the enterprise's information technology strategies

Lead

  • Lead the creation and establishment of the EA function or program in our organization
  • Assess and communicate the achievement and impact of EA
  • Identify organizational requirements for resources (financial, skill and process resources), as well as the structures and cultural change necessary to support the EA.
  • Oversee EA implementation and ongoing refinement activities across teams and functions
  • Coach and train individuals on Enterprise & Solution architecture approach and disciplines

Architect

  • Drive innovation by aligning the mindset towards moving from technology driven to business outcome driven architecture
  • Analyze the current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement
  • Produce target-state solution architecture for new and existing solutions
  • Lead and oversee the documentation of all architecture design and analysis work. Ensure documentation standards are followed
  • Oversee the evaluation of software and hardware product standards
  • Consult with application/ infrastructure development projects to fit systems to architecture, and identify when it is necessary to modify the technical architecture to accommodate project needs

Govern

  • Lead or facilitate the creation of governing principles to guide information, technology and solution decision making for the enterprise
  • Lead the development of an implementation plan for the EA, based on business requirements and IT strategy
  • Design and direct the governance structure and compliance activities (such as exception and exemption handling) associated with ensuring compliance with the EA. Serve as point of escalation, review and approval for key issues and decisions

Your Expertise: 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Proven experience as an Enterprise/Solution Architect in large-scale enterprise environments. Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, cross-functional solutions.
  • Expert knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, including computing, network, storage, monitoring, and security.
  • Strong technical expertise in a wide range of technologies, such as cloud computing, microservices architecture, and database design.
  • Proficiency in architecture modeling tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, with effective leadership and team-building abilities. The ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines is crucial.
  • TOGAF, SAFe certification, or equivalent enterprise architecture certification.
