As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer at ACT, you will have a key role in managing and modernizing the Business Intelligence Platform. The BI Platform is completely built on top of Microsoft Azure SSAS Services and follows the Microsoft Reference Architecture for small and midsize businesses. In addition to daily tasks like Data Analysis, Data Integration, Data Modelling and Report Design, as part of the BI team you will also be responsible for activities like gathering the requirements from the business, testing, implementing or changing the CI/CD pipelines and monitoring the usage of the deliverables.
On a tactical and strategical level your input would be valuable regarding the changes that will happen to the platform including but not limited to the addition or removal of Azure Services, cost optimization, security and compliance improvements and task automation.
Operational activities like Business Support, performing bi-weekly releases are shared across the team members and thus they will also be your responsibility from time to time. In addition, we aim to document our BI Platform and thus you will be documenting in Confluence the new Data Integration pipelines, new Data Models etc.
You will be actively participating in all scrum activities in BI and help the team to further improve the way of working. You will work with most of the departments in the company and thus build a high-level view of the business. Prior knowledge in the business areas including Sales, Finance, Operations, Risk is highly appreciated.
