Your Role in Our Story:

As a Senior FP&A Analyst you will be part of the Finance team of LOC Commodities, working with an international product and client portfolio.

The LOC Commodities Finance department comprises teams such as Financial Control, Accounting and FP&A. As the direct report to the FP&A Manager, your role will involve overseeing critical market sizing analysis, conducting forward book calculations, developing Power BI reports, preparing annual budget cycles, constructing financial models and preparing presentation materials. Collaborating closely with the FP&A Manager, Operations/Finance peers and Sales Managers will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. In essence, your role involves:

  • Preparing and owning recurring reporting models on business performance
  • Diving deep, analyzing historical trade information and drawing conclusions, in coordination with the FP&A Manager
  • Conducting market size, market share and customer/competitor analysis for products and services
  • Pricing analysis in cooperation with Risk Department
  • Looking forward; preparing value-added insight and forecasting for budget purposes
  • Developing detailed reporting and analysis related to our forward book (for example, sensitivities), including building BI reporting
  • Analyzing commercial opportunities and business cases
  • Preparing and coordinating presentation material for LOC management and Global board

 

Your Expertise: 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes :

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce or other relevant study;
  • 3-5 years’ experience working within financial planning and analysis or financial control within the FMCG industry, banking or management consulting;
  • Quantitative skills and mindset: Proven Advanced Excel (VBA, pivots, complex formulas), PowerPoint and Power BI skillset is required
  • Knowledge of, and interest in, European energy markets is a plus
  • High attention to details and ability to adapt to change;
  • Good communication skills and a critical mindset;
