Your Role in Our Story: 

In essence, your role involves:

  • Leveraging deep relationships with WECC contacts to source & supply compliance RECs and Offsets across all WECC markets 
  • Working with existing traders to expand WECC trading activities 
  • Understanding and identifying arbitrage opportunities in the renewable energy commodity market to originate deal flow for your trade book  
  • Creating strategic trade solutions to ensure obligated parties reach their compliance goals  
  • Developing an understanding of the landscape within the market including product knowledge, industry challenges, legislative and geopolitical changes  
  • Maintaining relationships in the renewable energy sector  
  • Representing the firm at conferences and engage with stakeholders within the industry 

Your Expertise: 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • 5-10 years of sales, trading, and brokerage of Renewable Energy Credits and Carbon Offsets in WREGIS markets including but not limited to: California, Washington, & Oregon. 
  • Highly self-motivated person who thrives in a dynamic work environment and demonstrates a flexible and adaptable work style that responds quickly  
  • Undergraduate Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Environmental Studies or a related field  

Please note: this role is remote with occasional travel to our NYC office and conferences.

The base pay range for this position is $125,000-$175,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The base pay is just one component of the total competitive compensation package for employees.
