Your Role in Our Story:

In essence, your role involves:

  • Managing the intake and initiation of new projects within the organization.
  • Analyzing new project on strategic relevance, required capabilities and business value.
  • Coordinating and supporting the process and progress reporting of running projects.
  • Reporting on project statuses to support informed decision-making by senior management
  • Developing and maturing project PMO process flows, including both processes, templates and tangible deliverables.
  • Collaborating closely with multiple departments across the organization, amongst which Project Managers, Product Owners and Finance.
  • Contributing to both tactical and strategic project management, with potential growth into strategic ownership roles.
  • Supporting Project Managers and delivery teams in their project execution and value tracking. 

 

Your Expertise: 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes: 

  • 3-5 years of experience in a PMO (Project Management Office), preferably with additional experience in another role beforehand.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a preference for knowledge of Six Sigma and Agile methodologies.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, able to work with various departments and on a wide range of projects.
  • Experience in project management outside of IT is welcomed and valued.
  • A background in smaller to mid-sized companies is preferred is an asset.
